Welcome to Week 2 of the Spring (or Autumn here in Perth, Australia) 2018 One Room Challenge. If you are not familiar with it, this is where design and guest bloggers completely transform a space in just six weeks, documenting the process on their blogs, and revealing a brand new room at the end.
If you are new here, I’m Jane and I blog here at Organised Pretty Home, about simple organising and decor ideas for your family home. Welcome!
Here’s progress of the entryway so far…
The existing furniture and decor have been removed and I have started sanding trim, door frames and doors ready to paint. As there are quite a few doors to do in the hallway and entryway, I have chosen to break the section up. Every day I aim to sand 2 doors and frames. A little bit each day and eventually it is all done!
I am all about small changes that have a big impact in your home as opposed to elaborate and detailed projects that take days to do.
So here are 5 easy entryway ideas that I have come up with that do give the space a new look with less effort, time and money!
5 Easy Changes To Make Your Entryway Look Amazing
Change 1: Paint The Inside Of The Front Door
Change 2. Switch Out Your Mat or Floor Rug
Change 3. Install A New Light Fixture
Change 4. Try A Different Furniture Arrangement
or give your existing furniture a coat or two of paint
Change 5. Hang Something Up
Now, let’s all hop over to the One Room Challenge site to check out what the other featured bloggers and guest participants are working on this season.
